Melissa & Doug Magnetic Hide & Seek Farm Board is an educational toddler toy full of activities and fun.  The wooden activity board features nine hinged doors on a charming barnyard scene.  Behind each door hides a delightful, magnetic animal piece, that can be removed and moved from door to door.

Also, the pieces inside each door are magnetic, so if the puzzle is knocked over the pieces won't go everywhere.  A great game when travelling.

Activities to play with your child

1.  Remove all of the pieces.  Ask the child to make the correct animal sounds when putting each piece into its correct place.

2.  Place three or more pieces face up in front of the child.  Ask him/her to study the pieces before closing his/her eyes.  Remove one piece.  Ask the child to open his/her eyes and identify the missing piece.

3.  Place three or more pieces inside the opened doors on the board.  Study them with the child.  Close the doors, and have the child identify what is behind each one.

4.  Ask the child to find items on the front of the board; a vine with flowers, five bluebirds, a tyre swing, a smiling earthworm etc

5.  Ask the child to identify and count the animals on each piece.  Ask the child to count details on each piece; 4 feet on the goat, 2 horns on the cow etc

6.  Remove all of the pieces. Guide the child in correctly replacing the pieces by giving some clues; The animal that belongs here sometimes wears a saddle.  This animal hops, etc
